I moved to Mossburn in 2001 and completed my Early Years Teaching Degree in 2005. I worked at the Winton Kindergarten and Mossburn Pre School before commencing teaching in the Senior Room at Mossburn Primary School in June, 2006. For the past 15 years I have been lucky enough to be the New Entrant Teacher.
I am the staff representative on the Board of Trustees and also the Within School Teacher for the FiNSCOL Kahui Ako.
Being a New Entrant Teacher with the knowledge and experience of ECE gives me a wonderful understanding of young children's social, academic and physical development.
Outside of school I love spending time with my three beautiful grandchildren: twins Archie and Frankie, and Lucy. Travelling overseas and exploring New Zealand in my motorhome are both passions of mine. I am a National Show Jumping Judge and enjoy travelling and judging at shows and show jumping events over the summer season throughout Otago and Southland. Going for leisurely bike rides on my E bike and spending time with family and friends are ways I relax and unwind.
